Granted Opportunities awards sliding scale scholarships on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. Applicant eligibility for financial assistance is assessed based on family size and household income. In addition to financial need, consideration will also be given to academic performance, community involvement, and personal interviews.

As a community-based organization, Granted Opportunities aims to reduce financial barriers and expand access for athletes who may face systemic obstacles to participation. Our Financial Assistance Program is made possible because caring people and businesses in our communities fund the program through our annual campaigns.

It’s easy to apply:

1. Please select the membership and/or all programs for which you are in need of financial assistance.

2. Complete the application, including name and contact details, household members, and household income information.

3. To verify financial need, applicants may be asked to provide one form of income documentation, such as a recent tax return, pay stub, benefits statement (SSI or unemployment), or other relevant income verification.

• Documentation will be requested only as needed to process applications and will be kept confidential.

• Students currently enrolled in college may be asked to provide their most recent FAFSA or proof of enrollment.
